- Any connection issue, USB cable detail, or app conflict that SmoothDroid reports.

- macOS 12 Monterey or newer, on Apple silicon or Intel.
- An Android device that exposes File Transfer, MTP, or Android Auto over USB.
- A data-capable USB cable, not a charge-only cable.
- The phone unlocked while connecting, with File Transfer/MTP selected from the Android USB notification.
